A slogan was coined, "Smitty's...in the Heartland of Canada's Finest Furniture Makers." Customers came from all the major centres like Toronto, Hamilton, Kitchener, to buy quality home furnishings in Hanover. Smitty's have a long established reputation for giving tremendous value to their customers.
In the
1970's a 25,000 square foot warehouse was built across the street
from the showroom so that the selling area could be expanded
further.
