Smitty's 43rd Annual Golf Tournament

Smitty's Fine
Furniture held their 43rd Annual Golf Tournament at Whispering Hills on June 13th.
All funds raised were designated to " The Light On Main Street", a
volunteer group of 75 area people providing weekly meals, free of cost, at the Hanover
Baptist Church. Every Thursday noon hour, they serve almost 100 people who find
themselves marginalized in our community for reasons such as unemployment, disabilities or
loneliness.
Smitty's Sales Staff work together once a month on Wednesday night to produce a huge salad for Thursday's meal. Smitty's Office Staff regularly help service or cleanup in the kitchen during the meal.
All Smitty's staff would like to challenge other businesses of Hanover to volunteer one night or 1 lunch hour per month to support this great benefit to our community.
